At iHeart, discovery is everything. Listeners don’t come to the app just knowing what they want - they come curious, distracted, and often short on time. The challenge wasn’t just helping users play content - it was helping them discover something worth staying for.
That's where I came in to lead end-to-end UX for Highlights, a short-form audio and video discovery experience across web, iOS, and Android. The goal was simple in theory but complex in practice: surface compelling moments from long-form content in a way that feels effortless, engaging, and scalable across platforms.
This case study walks through how I helped shape the MVP from early problem framing and discovery, to cross-platform design decisions, stakeholder alignment, and measurable product impact.
